    Application is hereby made to obtain a permit to do the work and installation as indicated. I certify that no work or installation has commenced prior to the submittal of this application. In the consideration of granting this requested permit, I do hereby agree that I/we will, in all respects, perform the work and installation in accordance with the applicable Florida State Statutes (FSS), Florida Fire Prevention Code, Saint Lucie County Fire District Local Amendment, Florida Building Code, and any other applicable N.F.P.A Codes. While submittal of plans or specifications are not required as a condition of obtaining a permit for a fire alarm (FSS 553.7932(2)(c)) or fire sprinkler (FSS 553.7932(1)(d)) system project, FSS 553.7932(5) requires a contractor to keep a copy of the plans and specifications, along with the permit, at the project worksite and make such plans and specification available to the inspector at each inspection. The approved plans will be required to be submitted to the Saint Lucie Fire District upon completion of the inspection for the permit to be closed.
