Operations
The Operations Division is responsible for delivering front-line emergency services throughout St. Lucie County. The Division provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, emergency communications, air rescue support, special operations response, and emergency incident management to protect the residents and visitors of our community.
Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the Operations Division staffs 20 fire stations strategically located throughout St. Lucie County, as well as the St. Lucie County Air Rescue Program based at Treasure Coast International Airport. Firefighters, paramedics, officers, telecommunicators, and support personnel work together to ensure a rapid, professional response to emergencies of all types.
In 2025, Fire District personnel responded to more than 71,000 requests for service, including over 64,000 emergency medical incidents and more than 7,000 fire-related calls. The Division also supports technical rescue operations, hazardous materials response, aeromedical transport, disaster response, special events, community outreach initiatives, and numerous programs that support the Fire District's mission.
Through training, preparedness, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence, the Operations Division remains dedicated to providing immediate, skillful, and professional emergency services to the residents and visitors of St. Lucie County.
