Logistics
The Logistics Division is responsible for procuring, managing, storing, and distributing the supplies, equipment, and resources necessary to support Fire District operations. The Division oversees a wide range of products, including medical supplies, uniforms, personal protective equipment, firefighting equipment, office supplies, narcotics, disaster response resources, and other mission-critical materials.
The Division manages inventory, warehousing, asset tracking, purchasing support, and distribution services for all Fire District facilities, including fire stations, the Administration Complex, Air Rescue, and the Emergency Operations Center. Logistics personnel ensure that firefighters, paramedics, telecommunicators, and support staff have the equipment and supplies needed to safely and effectively serve the community.
In addition to supporting daily operations, the Logistics Division plays a critical role in emergency preparedness and disaster response by coordinating the acquisition, staging, and distribution of resources during major incidents, severe weather events, and other emergencies. Through efficient resource management and strategic planning, the Division helps ensure the Fire District remains ready to respond whenever and wherever needed.
