Buildings and Grounds
The Buildings and Grounds Division is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all St. Lucie County Fire District facilities, including 20 fire stations, the Administration Complex, and the Fleet Maintenance Shop. The Division maintains building systems, air conditioning equipment, fuel sites, landscaping, and other critical infrastructure to ensure Fire District facilities remain safe, functional, and operational.
The Division manages both routine maintenance and capital improvement projects and assists with facility planning and budget development to support the long-term needs of the Fire District. Through proactive maintenance and infrastructure management, the Buildings and Grounds Division helps ensure that Fire District personnel have safe, reliable facilities from which to serve the community.
