PUBLIC EDUCATION

The Public Education Division is responsible for reaching out to school and community groups teaching basic life safety skills. These programs reach over 30,000 children and adults during the year.

Adult Programs include:

  • CPR Training
  • Disaster Planning
  • First Aid for Counselors
  • Fire Extinguisher Training

Children's Programs Include:

  • Firefighter Career
  • Beeping Ben
  • Matches & Lighters
  • Escape Planning
  • Scout Troops
  • Juvenile Firestarters

In addition, Public Education gives tours of fire stations to young and old throughout the year.
