Catherine Chaney serves as the Public Informatin Officer for the Fire District, and is responsible for all media relations. The position is tasked with promoting the Fire District through public realtions. In addition to public presentations and printed materials, the PIO office provides updates for the website to the I.T. Department. Catherine also produces a monthly employee newsletter. The PIO reports directly to the Fire Chief, and does not have a rank. Catherine Chaney has a BA from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She earned her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Kansas, and is a member of the Florida Public Relations Association, Treasure Coast Chapter.
