INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) DEPARTMENT

 

IT Department

The IT Department provides the Fire District data and voice communications services.
This includes, but not limited to, software and hardware support, installations, tower climbing, 24/7 support and researching new techniques and devices. The IT department is also responsible for updating and maintaining the SLCFD web site.

With each new station, or station remodel, the data and voice communications need to be connected with the overall system. This is a major task with each location bringing a unique set of challenges.
