		FLEET MAINTENANCE The Fleet Maintenance Shop is responsible for the maintenance and repair of 115 Fire District vehicles. The Shop maintains everything from small vehicles for special events to Special Operations Engines or the ARFF Truck. The ARFF (Airport Rescue and Firefighting) Truck is an Oshkosh Striker with a 1,500-gallon water capacity. It can also disburse 210 gallons of foam and 500 lbs. of dry chemical – all simultaneously. The Shop has 3 drive-thru bays and a stationary floor lift with a 30,000 lb. capacity. The Fleet Maintenance Staff allows the Fire District to keep all of their apparatus in top running performance. The vehicles come in for major work as well as regular maintenance. The Shop also prepares any new vehicles to become fully operational.
