 Assistant Fire Chief Carlos Duran has over 31 years of experience in emergency services and has been with the St Lucie County Fire District since March 1984. He has a B.A. in Organizational Management, is a graduate of the Executive Fire Officer Program (EFOP) at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Chief Duran Currently oversees the Operations Division which includes fire and EMS operations, Fire Prevention, Communications Division, Training and Safety Division, Buildings and Grounds, Public Education, Special Operations, and the Flight Program. |
