		BUILDING & GROUNDS The Buildings & Grounds department is responsible for repairs and upkeep of all the District buildings, including 15 fire stations and the Administration Complex. It is also responsible for the air conditioning systems and landscaping. It assists in the planning and design of new stations as well as remodels of older stations. The Buildings staff is responsible for SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) for over 400 firefighters/EMTs and Paramedics who work for the Fire District. This includes face masks, air packs, air bottles used by personnel and carried on rescue vehicles and fire engines.
